New Feature: Free File Attachments
ProBoards is proud to announce our newest feature: Free file attachments for all forums. Previously a paid feature, our attachment service now provides 100Mb of space for all forums free of charge with a maximum file size of 1Mb per file.
When uploading an image, a thumbnail preview will appear that is clickable to view the full size image. Normal files (such as zip files) will include a link to download the file.
Forum administrators can manage their attachments in the Administration Area under Manage Posts -> Attachments. If you wish to set who is allowed to upload files on specific boards within your forum, go to Boards -> Modify Board. Once on this page, select which board you want to modify. Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and pick which option you desire from the Posting Restrictions sections, specifically the option titled Post Attachments.

Very cool! I'm not sure how much I would use this, owning my own webspace and all, but it's nice that this is now a free feature. Now if only Ad-Free was free as well... ;)

Cool! This will likely prove to be useful for some things... I, myself, see it as a way to share important files with staff of my forum so I don't have to do all the work on them myself =P I'm wishing you and all working on v5 or proboards luck and inspiration ^_~ I can't begin to say how much I love proboards!

Thanks to your new feature of free attachments, I now have a site for the benefit of my softball league where members can now download rules, forms, schedules etc. The 100MB storage and 1MB file size is more than enough to satisfy our needs.
The league is always looking to save money so now they can have all the proboards features plus this new attachment feature for FREE!! Thank you proboards!!!

I just want to say overall that this proboards is one of the most awesome, useful websites I have ever found for classroom use. I have been using it for five years. The administrative features and security that allows me to moderate posts is outstanding. I recommend it to every teacher I encounter, and I teach them too.
