Version 4.5 Fully Released

We have completed our roll-out of version 4.5 to all forums. If you are experiencing any problems with your forum please visit our support forum where our staff will be happy to assist you with any issues you may have.

Special thanks to Martyn Dale for all his hard work on this release, and to everyone who helped test it out!

  • Only issues I'm having with the upgrade, is I can not add anymore images to my censored word list, me and another forum owner have had topic's about it in the Bug forum, and it has not been fixed yet, other than that, it's been smooth sailing.

  • It appears proboards email needs a tweak.

    Your "sign-up" email is sent from nobody@proboards85.com, yet your mailserver is not accepting mail for *@proboards85.com.

    This means that email bounces from mails you have sent out are not "returned to sender", which is bad.

    It only requires a tweak - either to send email from nobody@proboards.com or for your mailserver to accept mail to proboards85.com (to match the DNS):

    ------
    ~$ host -t mx proboards85.com
    proboards85.com mail is handled by 10 mail.proboards.com.

  • My board is really responding slow ever since the update. I noticed that the "fix this board" option is now gone. I'm getting a lot of complaints about the slow response time. Maybe something needs to be tweaked.
